"
That’s a problem we have as coaches—we don’t get to hear others, especially the great ones, do what they do. That’s why your program is so important."

"May I say again how much I am enjoying the rich opportunities you are providing through listening to master coaches.
I appreciate your efforts to support professional coaches to keep stretching, growing and deepening our coaching skills." ~
Jackie Black, PhD, BCC, www.DrJackieBlack.com

When asked about the importance of the modeling form of learning, Master Coach Judy Feld replied:
"Its invaluable. Especially if there is give and take and it's not just about observation or listening. If you get to ask good questions and put in your own point of view, I can't think of anything more valuable than that."

"Collaborating in coaching particularly for the purpose of learning and development is very special...Thanks for this opportunity Gail, I love what it is you are doing here."~Meryl Moritz, MCC Executive Coach, Meryl Moritz Resources

 Master Coaches

What is a Master?
"One who has attained great skill, person of rank or high learning, one who has become adept, an expert, an original whom others aspire to be like, one who has reached a level of excellence, one who is qualified to teach apprentices, a professional or artist who is regarded as great."

A Master Coach is all of those!

For Moore Master Coaching, the Master Coach has also achieved a high level of distinction. They have had years of experience, coached many clients and have a very successful coaching practice.

In addition, they have one or more of the following qualifications: are or have been a teacher, are or have been a mentor coach, have published a book, have received the master certification from ICF, have created a unique process and/or started a school.

Anyone who has attained the level of "Master" is one to be held in the highest esteem. They are to be truly admired and respected for their dedication, perseverance, talent and contribution as well as for the example they set and the great learning that only they can provide. We are truly blessed.

The following are the bios of the guest Master Coaches for the last 6 months and the line up of future Master Coaches (with more to come!). To see all previous Master Coaches please visit the past calls page.

I want to offer my deepest gratitude to these expert role models who have so graciously agreed to share their gift, their expertise, their wisdom and their experience

“I read every page of this beautiful diary — it touched my heart and I’m sure it will impact yours.” Dr. Wayne Dyer, New York Times best-selling author.

“Aurora offers wise tools for appreciating the everyday beauty of living.” Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith, founder of Agape, featured in the movie “The Secret”

Then together coach and client strategize on how to combine these with job responsibilities and expectations of upper management or stakeholders to transform this greatness into opportunity and results.

An Alabama native, Irving's first job after college was training military pilots in helicopter instruments during the Vietnam War. Irving has over 30 years experience in the leadership, training and coaching fields. She is also an author and speaker. They desire to 'show up' in their greatness in a way that inspires others and increases the bottom line.

Irving is committed to her own 'greatness' through life-long learning; whether its continuing education in her field, attending trainings and conferences or reading 40-50 books per year (half of which are professional). Her latest passion is studying the new research by Dr. David Rock and how the brain functions in regard to prioritizing, decision making, and dealing with change and fear. Jan Elfline, EdD, MCC
Visual, Creative & Performance

Wednesday April 24, 2013 12-1pm EDT

In classrooms, and on calls, people turn lumps of thought into gold, like modern-day alchemists. They pull rabbits out of hats, and I get to watch them do it. Learning is magic.

In my days as a student, my strongest curiosity was at an improbable intersection — mathematics, engineering and art. I brought these together as a glassblower, studying with Joel Phillip Myers, and earning a Master of Science degree.

I was lucky and received a fellowship from the J Paul Getty Trust for my doctoral research, so the dissertation got finished. Ten years in academia followed, teaching artists at Illinois State University. In 1993 I left a safe job. In May, 2013, I will have had a coaching and training business for 20 years.

Creativity has interested me as long as I can remember, and I continue to puzzle over related questions: How is it that people are so inventive?  What sparks creativity?  How does a person craft an idea into something physical? What process in the mind leads to an invention, a musical composition, a manuscript, or a theatre production?

In addition to my EdD, I am a Master Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation and an NLP Master Practitioner and Trainer.  I have taught seminars on coaching and creativity in businesses and at private institutes in North America, Europe and Asia. Beginning in 2013, after 15 years of crossing oceans to teach, I have decided to stay closer to home.  I now teach near Chicago, St Louis and at Hopewell near Bloomington, Illinois.

I live in the countryside on a 36-acre property that came with an appropriate name, Hopewell.  My husband (and the delight of my life) Drake Zimmerman, keeps bees, hunts fossils, feeds birds and makes sculpture when he is not coaching people about how to have a relationship with their money.

Ronnie has worked with hundreds of small business owners to help them identify, acquire, and retain their best clients.  She says the most valuable thing she learned is that rather than dollars, cents, and other numbers, marketing is about relationships, and once business owners can identify their ideal clients, then all that's left to do is initiate the relationship and the rest is easy!

Ronnie has proven her philosophy over and over again in her work with clients as diverse as doctors, lawyers, coaches, real estate brokers, financial planners, restaurateurs, electronic services providers, and myriad self-employed home-based service professionals, and shares her unique approach with the world through her speeches, classes, workshops, and information products.

Ronnie appeared in 31 episodes of "Dream Builders TV: A Focus on Entrepreneurship" as Your Marketing Coach.  The show aired on the Portland, Oregon, Fox affiliate and regionally in the Pacific Northwest, and is now in syndication in Israel and Thailand.

She is a member (and past president) of the NW Coaches Association (a chapter of the ICF), and was named the chapter's Coach of the Year for 2007.  She was also honored as one of the NW Women's Business Journal's 100 Most Powerful Women in 2007.

A contributing columnist for the NW Women's Journal AND the Vancouver Business Journal, she has also written more than 100 articles for The Home Business Journal, The CEO Refresher, and The Home Business Report, among other business and trade publications.

Ronnie founded the Northwest Women's Business Network, a virtual network that is endorsed by the Small Business Administration and more than 40 women's groups and associations in the Portland, Oregon-metro area.

She holds a BA in Communications from PSU, and is a graduate of Coach U.  Ronnie's style is light, direct, and playful, but slightly edgy, so her clients can expect lots of enthusiasm and energy from her.  She loves the profession of coaching and the process of marketing, and she is as committed to supporting her own clients in their quest to attract the clients they'd love to have as she is to having a great time with them while they're doing that.

She provides lots of concrete information on marketing, including tips, tactics, and techniques that can help each client create the business of their dreams and attract their ideal clients like magnets, if they choose to apply what she shares with them.  Her mission in her professional life is to help entrepreneurs realize their dreams of personally and professionally fulfilling self-employment.

"We have become a culture of short-term thought, perspective, and vision.  Because of this, there is less value in our culture for mastery in a particular craft or field. However, it is mastery that ultimately supports us in the long through-line of life. While mastery may involve specific ways of doing things, more importantly mastery is about perspective, outlook, understanding, and personal presence.  Mastery is a way of thinking and a way of being that then informs how we do things.  We could gain a lot by bringing forward the ideas of apprenticeship and mastery again into our culture.  In our apprenticeship, we learn about being present to the task at hand as well as the “presence” that we bring to that moment and task.  In our mastery, we recognize that learning is a life-long pursuit—that apprenticeship, on one level, never ends.  Our job as masters in this world is to keep an open mind and heart, pay attention to the service we are being asked for, and to stretch into the new levels of being and doing what the next level of service requires."
-~Alan Seale, Founder and Director of the Center for Transformational Presence~

"That’s a problem we have as coaches—we don’t get to hear others, especially the great ones, do what they do.  That’s why your program is so important."
