David Franklin has been an executive, leadership, and personal coach for over twenty-five years. He has coached individuals, groups, and teams in non-profit, government, and private sectors. His clients have included senior leaders, directors, mid-level managers, front-line workers, and entrepreneurs. He has also mentored hundreds of coaches, both individually and in groups. 

David was a Functional Consultant, Subject Matter Expert, Deputy Program Manager, and Lead Coach for the Organizational Leadership Coaching Program at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Additionally, he has worked as an organizational development consultant, coach, trainer, and facilitator at Xerox, Boeing, City of Seattle, and Seattle Children's Hospital. He currently works as a Senior Organizational Development Consultant at Stanford Medicine Children's Health.

David received his training through Pathways, Inc. and holds the distinguished Master Certified Coach (MCC) credential through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). He utilizes a laser-focused coaching approach that helps clients quickly reveal blind spots and uncover root causes. As a result, individuals and teams experience profound shifts that lead to sustained changes in behavior and goal achievement. Client results include improved leadership, communication, performance, trust, and productivity. 

He also holds a Master's Degree in Leadership and Organizational Development from the Leadership Institute of Seattle. Currently, David's primary coaching focus is on mentoring both organizational and personal coaches to master their coaching skills.

David is a native New Yorker who has lived in the Pacific Northwest for almost 30 years, a classical guitarist who listens to heavy metal, an outdoor enthusiast, an obsessive Seattle Seahawks fan, and a bagel and pizza snob. He currently lives on Bainbridge Island, WA and is a husband to a lovely personal chef and father to a teenage aspiring rock guitarist and songwriter.
